Skills Funding Agency

The Skills Funding Agency are a government organisation whose role is to fund and regulate adult further education and skills training in England.  The Agency collect a huge amount data of employer data via their 7,000 training providers, regional offices and partner organisations and need a single view of every workplace in England to ensure the data they hold is accurate and consistent.  Blue Sheep developed the Employer Data Service (EDS) for the Agency to provide them with a single, high quality source of employer data.  The EDS system sits at the heart of the Skills Funding Agency’s view of UK employers and is used to verify the amount of funding given to employer and training providers, as well as playing a key role in identifying fraud.
